Overview

Our culture is determined to be a “both/and” mentality rather than an “either/or” reality. We like it all (both/and) and we don’t want to make hard choices of either/or. Jesus really wants us to take a stand on one side or the other. There is no middle ground with Jesus. There is no “comfort zone” in the gospel. So much in our faith is not up to debate or a vote, such as loving our neighbor.

Martin Luther said, “The gospel cannot be preached without offense and tumult.” — Really? Does it cause problems in your life? Why or why not? Do be daring and do be extreme for Jesus’ sake, live on the edge!
