Overview

I’m not a fan of judgment. Sure I like justice and I do understand that justice is a consequence of judgment. There is no justice without judgment. Yet, I like justice and I don’t like Judgment.

God’s judgment is seen in our freedom to disobey him. God’s judgment is that we can mess up and have to face the consequence of our action and thereby we judge ourselves. BUT here is the caveat, in Jeremiah as a whole, judgment gives way to HOPE! God’s Justice is our hope! In the midst of all the chaos (cased by judgment) there is hope (caused by God’s justice). “… yet, I will not make it a full end …”  After you face the consequences there is hope.
