Leadership

Rev. Dr. Brad Henderson has been in Christian ministry since 1985, spending the first half of his ministry in the United Methodist tradition before coming into the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Most recently (2015-2025) he served as pastor of Grace Christian Church in Helena, AL. Brad is married to Jeannie (Kelley), and between them they have four children and four grandchildren.  He prefers to be called Brad (rather than by titles), and he enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and driving. 

Rev. Alyssa Burton has worked in various positions in the church since she was 19. In the summer of 2023 she accepted the call to full time ministry at FCC-HSV. She now serves as the Associate Pastor of Christian Education, Youth, Children, and Families. She is currently a student at Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky.  In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew and son, Henry. She also enjoys spending time outdoors. 

Tucker Ratcliff is the Choral Director at Grissom High School, where he leads the Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir, and has revitalized the program through high-level opportunities such as the Grissom Choral Festival and Grissom Choral Assessment. He has also served as Music and Orchestra Director for Grissom Musical Theatre and worked with Ars Nova School of the Arts on multiple productions. An active member of NAfME, AMEA, AVA, ACDA, and HCDA, he is a founding member of the Alabama Choral Society and holds leadership roles within several professional organizations. Ratcliff is married to fellow choral director Caitlyn, is the father of Colden and Charles, and finds inspiration for his work through family, nature, running, and outdoor adventure. Tucker joined the worship staff at FCC in March of 2025. 

Jackson Love is a pianist and composer based in Huntsville, AL. A Huntsville native, he received his BM from UAH and his MM from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. As a freelance composer he collaborates frequently with the Huntsville Ballet Company and also music directs for several local musical theatre companies in Huntsville. Jackson joined the staff at First Christian Church in January 2024.
