Sermon Theme:         What does it take for us to realize that God is present and that Christ has risen?  Are we like the women at the tomb who need a reminder of the promises of Jesus?  Are we like the disciples who yearn for physical proof?  Or are we like the Roman guards; who know the truth but keep our mouths shut?

Our needs and our challenges are all different, but God is loving, patient, and willing to provide what we need for the sake of our faith, even if it means sacrifice.  Today we have heard the good news, we are reminded of the words of Jesus, and we have seen the light of the risen Christ in each other and in ourselves.  Now we are called to go forth and meet Jesus as we touch the lives of others.
