Sermon:                      Grown Men Climbing Trees

Sermon Theme:         No person has an authentic encounter with Christ unless a generous heart is the result.  You don’t say how much you love Jesus; you show it.  Think about how you spend your free time and your money. Think about the plans you are making for your life. If it’s all about you and yours, if it’s all self-serving, then maybe you need to climb a tree and invite Jesus to lunch. As a result of his encounter with Christ, Zacchaeus was forever changed and he responded by giving.  You and I are now invited to decide for ourselves what our response will be.
