Sermon Theme:         Throughout Luke Christians have received a call to action to seek out those in need and care for them.  It is a command, a challenge given to us by Christ to help everyone; those who we know and love and the stranger as well, but before we point our condemning finger we must realize that we do the same.  We constantly use the scriptures for our means without taking into account the whole, the spirit of the message.  Jesus said that when we assist the poor, the oppressed, and those in prison, we are truly helping him!  Jesus knew that we are all connected, we are all one family of God, our job is not to chide another for stumbling, but to help them get back on their feet, and support them in their journey of faith.
