Sermon:                      Paying the Cost

Sermon Theme:         The cross of Jesus is a heavy burden to bear.  We are imperfect people, we make mistakes and of course, we get tired, we will become discouraged, and we will doubt.  It is human nature.  But Jesus knows our frustration, God understands our discouragement, and the Spirit hears our cries for mercy.  We are not alone in this.  Through the sacrifice of Jesus God knows what it is to be human.  Therefore, when we feel as though we have lost our faith, God restores our hope with the simple knowledge that we are forgiven and new life is offered to all.
