Huntsville Learning Center
For the month of October, the Community Outreach ministry is collecting donations to benefit the Huntsville Learning Center.
Huntsville Learning Center (HLC) is a faith based non-profit after-school program that helps students from impoverished and underserved communities. HLC has been ministering to school age children (K-8th) and their families since 2005.
In 2023, they moved to larger facilities on Kavanaugh Drive in Northwest Huntsville and introduced 9th-grade classes. The Learning Center plans to add another grade level each year, with programs for students Kindergarten through 12th grade by the fall of 2026. The Learning Center also holds Summer Camp and other community programs such as parent education opportunities.
You can learn more at www.hsvlc.org.
HLC envisions a future where all children, including those from marginalized communities, are inspired to become confident, compassionate, and successful individuals who positively impact our
world. They believe that every individual is one of God’s creations and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. HLC is committed to helping them do just that!
Throughout October, you can note “Huntsville Learning Center” or “HLC” on your check or Church Paypal account for any amount, whatever your preferred method of donating to Huntsville First
Christian Church.
Please give generously.
