Overview

We do have a communication problem when we don’t listen to one another, or to God for that matter. Jesus is asked by some in the temple if he is the Messiah. He responds, “My sheep hear my voice.” It is as if he is saying, if you don’t know me by now, are you listening to me? Are you watching me and seeing what I am doing? If you were, you’d know me and he concludes by saying, “My father and I are one.”

So who are we listening to in our lives? Who do we pay attention to for our hope and salvation? Jesus is clearly saying, “Hear my voice! Listen to me. Be transformed and changed.”
