Sermon Theme:         The lesson for today reminds us that the “lost things” in this world are worth looking for.  That everyone is not only welcome but actively sought out.  Neither the sheep nor the coin was punished for “getting lost” because the focus was not on the past but the happy reunion with the owner.  There will be times in our lives when we become lost again; it is a part of our nature.  Yet, we know that when this happens our shepherd will search for us and will not stop until we are found.
