This month, CWM will support the AL/NWFL CWM project, the WellHouse in Birmingham, with monetary donations.  The WellHouse is a Christ-centered nonprofit    organization offering immediate shelter and transitional housing to women who have been trafficked, prostituted, or are otherwise sexually exploited.  Food, clothing, spiritual guidance, Christian counseling, and other necessities are provided, along with referrals for substance abuse treatment if needed.  Life skills classes, GED preparation, and other enrichment services are part of the experience to help these women become self-sufficient and give them a sense of self-worth.  If you would like to contribute to this effort, please drop a check in the offering bowl or the church office, annotated for “CWM WellHouse”.
