Monday, December 16, 2024, The First Christian Church Choir is pleased to host the choirs of Ardmore High School and Grissom High School for an evening of music, celebrating the holiday season! We will hear music from a wide range of composers and time periods as Mr. Tucker Ratcliff and Mr. Nicholas Murphy conducts their choirs at First Christian Church at 6:30pm. They will combine their forces with the First Christian Church choir to perform Daniel Pinkham’s 20th century classic, Christmas Cantata. This masterwork also features a brass band and organ. This is widely recognized as one of Daniel Pinkham’s more important and impressive works in his repertoire. We are delighted to sing alongside these very talented students and musicians, with a reception to follow. We hope to see the sanctuary full of church and family members for what is sure to be an excellent evening of festive music!
