Sermon:                      The Empty Tomb

Sermon Theme:         Even though we are unprepared for the coming of Christ, even though we cannot foresee our own transformation, even though we have said, “No” to God time and time again; our Lord and Savior says, “Yes” to us.

When we turn away, tell ourselves and others that we do not know him, and deny his very existence; Christ is there, waiting to forgive, accept, encourage, and empower his brothers and sisters in faith.  Our call, is to become like the women at the empty tomb, who believed without seeing, recognized the importance of this event, and rushed to tell others that Jesus Christ had defeated death
