Sermon:                      Believe in Me

Sermon Theme:         We are not so different from the disciples.  When Jesus speaks and says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Believe in God, believe also in me.” the words shared at the table were not just for the events of that evening, they were also for the future, because the disciple’s lives did not get any easier when they believed in Christ.  Their problems did not magically disappear.

So why did they continue to believe?  Why do we continue to worship God each and every week?  It is because we were promised a place at the table of God.  Not a throne just a place, and we know that there is room for us all in the kingdom, not a palace, just room. It is because we have experienced the presence of God in our lives and we know that by working together we can make the world a better place, we can share the message of Jesus, and we can let all people know that they are loved by God.
