Sermon Title              Wisdom Cries Out

Sermon Theme:         In our world there are many people and ideas that claim to hold wisdom.  They shout loudly that if we listen we will live longer, gain wealth, become powerful and more attractive and to others.  Yet, do these teachings hold to the ideal of wisdom that we find today?  And how often do we worship or pray seeking to hear the voice of God and then quickly move on in our lives never giving God a chance to respond.  Sophia does not say that wisdom is inherent within each of us; rather, wisdom is an attribute of God that is provided if we listen, learn and seek to understand.
