Rev. Linda Davis
Linda and Troy have been married for Fourteen years and have five children (Linda 24, Ty 14, Troy Jr & Tre 11 and Iman 6).
Linda began her ministry as a volunteer with the U.S Army Military Chapels since 2004. She became a Chaplain Intern in 2014 at the Garrison Chapel in Vicenza, Italy and successfully directed VBS for over 200 children and youth daily as well as over 100 volunteers. During her time there she was also able to become a government contractor serving as a Religious Education Coordinator for three Protestant services in which she serviced the religious needs of thousands of military families and host nationals while living in Italy. During her time in Italy she was also was able to serve on the Gospel Service board as the Event Planning Coordinator in which she coordinated both a Fall Fest and Friends & Family Day with over 300 military families and host nationals in attendance.
During her stay in Europe, she was able to complete 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education in which she provided counseling services to military personnel, their families and host nationals under the supervision of Chaplain (Major) Mark Shelton the Family Life Director. Linda was recognized two years in a row as Volunteer of the year through the Army Community Service and received two Chaplain Coins, one from the Catholic Priest Chaplain (Col.) Joseph Fleury and Chaplain (Major) James Foster-Garrison Chaplain.
Linda has an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting, a Bachelor of Administration in Health Care Management, is a Certified Nurse Assistant and will graduate in January with Master’s Degree in Religious Education and will graduate with a M.Div. in Military Chaplaincy in 2019.
Linda strives to continue her work with the military and seeks to serve her church by ensuring that families and their children/youth understand biblical foundations that can be applied to their lives.
