Overview
On Palm Sunday it’s so true that Jesus knows where he’s coming from and where he is going, but he also knows where’s going to. Between the Palms of praise and the Cross of death there is a lot of pain. Jesus knows the cries of “Peace” and “Glory” as he rides into Jerusalem will become cries of “crucify him.” But nothing (no pain, no betrayal) can ever stop him from his appointed task. He must live through it all. He is strong.
Jesus is the new Messiah. He is king and through him God is revealed in gracious love and help to make our lives stronger and better. The Kingdom is at hand with its message of hope for all who believe.
