Rev. Alyssa Burton has worked in various positions in the church since she was 19. In the summer of 2023 she accepted the call to full time ministry at FCC-HSV. She now serves as the Associate Pastor of Christian Education, Youth, Children, and Families. She is currently a student at Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew and son, Henry. She also enjoys spending time outdoors. Rev. Dr. Brad Henderson has been in Christian ministry since 1985, spending the first half of his ministry in the United Methodist tradition before coming into the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Most recently (2015-2025) he served as pastor of Grace Christian Church in Helena, AL. Brad is married to Jeannie (Kelley), and between them they have four children and four grandchildren. He prefers to be called Brad (rather than by titles), and he enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and driving.
