Sermon:                      Responding with Thanksgiving

Sermon Theme:         We too live in a time where the word of the LORD is rare, visions of the LORD’S works are not widespread and corruption abounds.  But God is calling us.  We may hear God in the voice of a child saying I love you, in the actions of a good Samaritan helping others without reward, in the works of the church when it goes forth to provide justice and seek mercy.  Whatever the case, the Lord is calling, and more importantly God is waiting for us to answer.  In the spirit of thanksgiving let us listen closely today and throughout our lives, so that we might truly hear the word of the Lord and faithfully respond.
