Sermon Theme: To imitate God by forgiving means to provide a door of opportunity for reconciliation that is not just a restored relationship but a new relationship between forgiver and forgiven.  As Christians we know that forgiveness starts when we realize that we have already been forgiven.  The next step is up to us.
