Overview
Thank God for second chances. A “second chance” implies that we’ve done something wrong, therefore we need a second chance to make it right. Sin still exists! So God gives second chances. Think of it this way, God’s judgment is not to destroy us or defeat us, but to save us through a second chance.

God created us to bear fruit. Fruit such as love, joy, peace, tolerance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Our text says that God won’t forever put up with our lack of fruitfulness, BUT neither does God give up on us. God gives us a second chance over and over again. So be strong. The cross is all about second chances.
