Sermon:                      Just Getting Started

Sermon Theme:         In the gospel of Matthew Jesus is just getting started.  He was with the disciples throughout their trials, he was with the mothers and fathers of the church as they dealt with a myriad of issues, and he continues to be with us now.  Jesus continues provide the focus that we need for our ministry.  He knows that we need his help and strength, he knows that we have questions and that sometimes we doubt, he knows that often we do not get along with other Christians and that we continue to disagree about doctrine and faith.  But it is just that, our faith in Christ that unites us. In the midst of tough times and difficult decisions we know that Jesus is with us always to the end of the age.
