Sermon Theme:  Salvation had come to Zacchaeus’ house, and he was forever changed because of Jesus’ arrival in his life. This man had made his living taking from others, and suddenly, after one meal, he is giving money away like the DMF of Jericho.

I have seen this many times, when Christ appears in our lives we become generous. Somehow he loosens our grip on our wallet, our pocketbook, our debit cards and giving becomes an opportunity, not just a requirement.

I would even dare to suggest that no person has had an authentic encounter with Christ unless a generous heart is the result.
