Sermon:                      Taking God for Granted

Sermon Theme:         In Galatians Paul reminds us that we cannot take God for granted.  We cannot let our faith become a collection of cute sayings and warm feelings.  We must be obedient in love and faithful in the service of all people.

This means that we are called to bear each other’s burdens and support one another instead of focusing on our selfish desires, that our power means nothing compared to the power of God, and that we should not take pride in our success or fear failure, for God is in control and God’s plans will prevail
