Sermon Title:             “What We Can’t Live Without”

Sermon Theme: It is no secret that we are driven by our own needs and desires.  We want to make the lives of our family and our lives better and sometimes this can lead to noble action, but often our desires become a blindfold that only allows us to see what we think we need.  We miss the point trying to satisfy the longings of the flesh and not taking the time to satisfy the longings of the human soul.  Have we discovered that God has provided everything we need, that our hungering and thirsting spirits have found satisfaction and rest in God?  Or are we still searching for a physical solution for a spiritual need?
