You may be familiar with a sermon by Tony Campolo, “It’s Friday, but Sunday’s Coming.” Friday the disciples scattered like sheep without a shepherd. It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming. There are a lot of Fridays in life. The Bible is forthright that Fridays are still very much a part of life. BUT the Bible is equally as clear that Friday is not God’s final word. Remember when you are going through a difficult sorrowful Friday, this is only Friday. Sunday is God’s final word. Sunday is HERE, Praise God! It is Easter Sunday and Jesus is risen! Hallelujah!
