Sermon:                      When Bread is Not Enough

Sermon Theme:         Like the Israelites each of us have had our times in the wilderness where we felt lost and alone, hungry for friendship, compassion and God’s presence.  When we are spiritually hungry manna is provided, but this manna comes with responsibility.  We are to have faith that God will give us what we need, but we are also called to use these gifts wisely to support and nurture others who are still wandering.

Today we have experienced the presence of God, we have been fed at the table of Christ, and we have been empowered by the Holy Spirit.  Now we are called to go forth in faith and share the good news so that others will be spiritually fed and know they are a part of God’s great family.
