Sermon:                      It’s About Love!

Sermon Theme:         Within minutes of this conversation the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians united to plot Jesus’ death.  Isn’t it interesting that this message of ultimate love was so threatening to the religious and political leaders of that time that they had to kill the messenger.  However, this ultimate agape love is a radical message; it is life-changing and life affirming.  The ethic of love call us to sacrifice for the good of others, overcome our fear and aversion to what makes us uncomfortable, and live in the image of our Creator.

We have all experienced the love of God in our own way and we have felt the love of others in our families, this church, and in the community.  Now we are called to emulate this love and share it, with those who make us comfortable, but especially with those who make us uncomfortable
