Sermon:                      Believing Idle Tales

Sermon Theme:         Throughout Holy Week we have witnessed the final days of Jesus and our hearts are aching because deep within us we still expect to find death at the tomb.  Like the disciples we are not ready for resurrection, it is just an idle tale.

The good news on this day is that even though we are unprepared for the coming of Christ, even though we cannot foresee our own transformation, even though we wait and reflect, amazed at what we have seen but not knowing what to do about it, Jesus reaches out to us and says, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?  I have risen!  You have risen!”
