Sermon Theme:         It is clear that Nathaniel represents us, yet one thing cannot be denied.  Even though he doubts, questions, and responds rashly; Jesus still calls Nathaniel to become a disciple.  God knows our weaknesses, Christ understands our fears, the Spirit realizes that we are imperfect, yet, we are still called children of God.  Our sins are forgiven, salvation is offered, a place at God’s table is assured, and we are sent back into the world refreshed and renewed ready to welcome all people to the family of God.
