“People Who Procrastinate”

Interim Senior Minister, Rev. Dr. Cameron Douglas’ message is, “People Who Procrastinate” based on Luke 9:51-62.

Overview

In today’s lesson Jesus encounters a man and says, “Follow me.” But the man replies, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” No excuses. There is an urgency to the call of Jesus on our lives. There are truly important things in life we need to do now, immediately.

Consider simply expressing your love for the people closest to you, such as your spouse, or even God for that matter. It is important to say I love you. Sometimes there is a great urgency to alter a lifestyle to fight a destructive habit such as drugs or alcohol. There is also an urgency to consider Jesus’ call to, “Follow me.” No excuses. He calls and what do you say?
