Sermon:                      Christ is Risen, Hope is Restored

Sermon Theme:         The hope that the disciples felt so long ago can be ours when recognize that God’s promises are true and that Christ is still present in our lives.  When we realize this our joy is so overwhelming that it cannot be contained; and so we share it with everyone, so great is its impact on our lives.

Let us reclaim our past, remembering God’s gifts to us and to our congregation for years.  Understanding that the work we have done has changed lives and made our community better.  But let us also envision our future, seeking the plans God has for us now, and working together to be the church that God wants us to be.
