Sermon Title:             “How We Live Matters”

Sermon Theme: Much passes for religion and much passes for Christianity these days.  Christians seem to be more concerned about growing numbers and a healthy budget than authentic ministry so we give into what is easy, telling others what they should believe and how they should live, instead of living the message ourselves.  Paul tells us that this is a sign of inauthentic faith because Christianity is a way of compassion, mercy, justice, and strength through vulnerability.  True faith always breaks down the assumptions of others because it is so radical that at first it makes no sense.  Then it makes so much sense that others want to experience Christ’s message in their lives.
