Overview

Jesus gives us a new commandment to love one another as he has loved us. That’s quite a challenging commission. It is asking us to love with God-like love. That is to say God-like love is undeserved, it begins by our willing it to be, and it must be the deepest love we are capable of giving. Love is a verb and not so much a noun. We need to speak love to others with our words certainly, but show it, too. We show love to others by our attitudes and our actions. It is a true Christian spiritual discipline to love others.
