Overview

Jesus said more about money and possessions than he did about prayer, faith, or salvation. Why? A clue is in Jesus’ words, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Jesus challenged people to examine the selfish values of living verses the Godly values of true eternal living. There is much more to life than what you see and that is a promise.

This parable of the Rich Fool is about a man who never considers how fragile life is and how important preparing for eternity is. We should never take life for granted. Jesus is calling us to develop a life that is rich toward God. Put your trust (heart) and treasures (blessings) in heaven where it will last forever.
