Sermon Title              True Greatness

Sermon Theme:         As Christians we are called to seek out the nameless and the faceless, to welcome the disenfranchised, and give voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.  We are called to reach out in mission, not trying to impose our culture on other societies, by sharing our knowledge, providing resources, and seeking to build relationships. By welcoming these people as family, treating them with love and respect, and showing them that they have a place in our community we are welcoming Christ, we are welcoming God into our lives, and we are living out our call to faith.  We must remove the barriers that hinder us from welcoming everyone to become a part of our faith and becoming a vital part of the Body of Christ.  In doing so we not only help others but we promote the ministry of Jesus Christ and remind the world that he came, died, and was resurrected for all people.
